May 18 (AZINS) Even before her debut film Student of the Year 2 hit the screens, Ananya Panday signed her second film Pati Patni Aur Woh, where she is paired opposite current heartthrob Kartik Aaryan. The duo shot for the film a couple of months back and will be resuming the shoot soon. The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar in the lead role and is being helmed by Mudassar Aziz. It's slated to release on December 6, 2019.

Talking about Ananya and Kartik, the actors have been linked up several times. Moreover, Ananya has also revealed that she has a major crush on him as well. During a recent interaction with Hindustan Times, when the newcomer was quizzed about Kartik being that 'special one', she stated, "Let me put it this way, he is a very good friend. We’re also doing a film together and have a very comfortable equation. We get along really well. I love spending time with him."

Ananya further said, "While working with him, I have realised what a selfless person he is. For instance, whenever we did a scene together [during the film’s first schedule], I noticed that he never thought only about his lines. Instead, he was like, ‘how to make the scene better?’ Otherwise too, Kartik has been really helpful to me. Since I am new, I think I need all the help that I can get. That way, he has been extremely supportive."

The young star kid concluded by praising Kartik more. She added, "Talking about my experience if I do a scene in a certain way and Kartik believes that it could work out better in another manner then he always tells me. And at this stage of my career, I really need that."
