Box Office Report Day 3: Ind vs Pak World Cup 2019 clash affects 'Game Over', 'Men In Black: International' & 'Khamoshi'
June 17 (AZINS) June 14 marked one of the few days where many movies released in theatres together. It however was expected to face hard luck considering Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Sunil Grover starrer Bharat had released just a week before that, and even more so, Indians would prefer watching India vs Pakistan match.

World Cup 2019 has been an interesting time. Indian cricket team once again won in India vs Pakistan match which was held on Sunday in Manchester, England. Various Bollywood celebrities reached the stadium, and others preferred Television sets over movies on Sunday.

Unlike Bharat collections, the other releases of Friday, including Game Over, Men In Black: International and Khamoshi, suffered due to the important match. That is quite the downward turn considering Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson starrer MIB fared extremely well on the first day and Game Over picked up on day two. Khamoshi, on the other hand, was already a disaster.

Collecting Rs. 3 crore on opening Friday, to minting 3.50 crore on Saturday, followed by Rs. 2.75 crore on Sunday, Men In Black: International is set to cross Rs. 10 crore mark today. Following right after is Taapsee Pannu starrer Game Over. The movie, which had a slow start with Rs. 75 lakhs approx, took a good kick on saturday with Rs. 1.75 crore. The movie saw the least drip by collecting Rs. 1.50 crore on Sunday. The total colelctions of the film in three days are Rs, 4.50 crore.

Prabhudheva-Tamannaah Bhatia's Khamoshi is a total washout since it collected Rs. 8 lakhs on Friday, followed by Rs. 12 lakhs on Saturday and dropped to Rs. 8 lakhs approximately yet again on Sunday. The movie in total has collected Rs. 28 lakhs approximately till date.
