June 28 (AZINS) From the past few days, Sidharth Malhotra has been sharing BTS stills from a dance shoot for his upcoming film, Marjaavaan. In the film, the handsome actor stars along with Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria. The shooting for the film was wrapped a few weeks back and only this song shoot was left. The shoot for the song kickstarted on Tuesday this week at a popular studio in Mumbai as well as Vasai Fort.

Now, it's not just Sidharth in the song, but he will be seen along with Nushrat Bharucha and it's their first appearance together. The track is titled 'Peeyu Datka' which is inspired by a Rajasthani folk song. Interestingly, it's sung and composed by famous rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh.

Talking about the song, Nushrat stated to Mumbai Mirror, "The film entered my orbit several times. I’d constantly hear about Marjaavaan at events and parties. At one such gathering, I was randomly told about this song they were doing and told that they were scouting around for a girl. Sid suggested that I do it and everyone was surprised when I agreed instantly. I guess I was destined to be a part of the film."

She further said, "It’s a party track with a desi vibe but also an underground feel which makes for an interesting contrast. For the first two days we shot on a mill set, and today we are shooting outdoors. Mudassar’s (Khan) choreography is fab and I’m having a blast!"

When asked about working with Sidharth, Nushrat went on to say, "He is a gentleman, one of the nicest guys in the industry. On Wednesday, during the shoot, I was stressed out about something and he kept telling me to relax."
