'Dad's driver met with accident, I'm absolutely fine': Himesh Reshammiya clarifies about Mumbai-Pune expressway incident
July 2 (AZINS) Renowned music director-singer Himesh Reshammiya was in news on Tuesday morning after a news report claimed that he and his family had met with an accident. The report further went on to state that his driver was also critical. The reality, according to a media statement that Himesh received, is something else.

Himesh Reshammiya clarified that even though the driver was injured, it was his father's driver and not his own. A report on Times Now claimed that Himesh and his family met with an accident on Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The report stated that his driver Ram Ranjan, who hails from Bihar, has suffered some serious injuries and is critical.

However clarifying the news about his accident Himesh let out a media statement that read:

“I was not in the car, and driver is absolutely fine. His foot is injured and he is in hospital. He will be back soon. He was hit by some car when he came outside his car to go to washroom. His car was also hit from the back by the other car. He is not my driver, he is my dad’s driver. I’m absolutely fine. The news that I met with an accident is absolutely wrong.”

On the work front, Himesh Reshammiya, also an actor, had recently announced on a Television show that he is going to release the sequel to his 2014 release The Xpose next year. He also has a romantic drama named Main Jahaan Rahoon in his kitty. Reshammiya also bought the rights for a biopic on Indian Army soldier Bishnu Shrestha (who fought 40 armed hijackers in a running Maurya Express train).
