Sanjay Dutt's 'Prasthanam' to hit the theatres on THIS date!
July 3 (AZINS) After much anticipation, the makers of Sanjay Dutt starrer Prasthanam have finally revealed the release date of the film along with a motion poster. The movie, which is a hindi remake of a Telugu film of the same name, is all set to hit the theatres on September 30, 2019.

Prasthanam has been directed by Deva Katta and stars Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Pandey, Ali Fazal, Amyra Dastur among others, along with Sanjay Dutt. The film went on floors last year and marks the return of Sanjay Dutt to Bollywood as a producer. The actor had last produced the 2011 comedy titled Rascals.

Sanjay Dutt took to his Twitter account to share the latest motion poster of the film, announcing its release date. The actor wrote along side the poster, "A legacy based on power, greed, love & human fallacies! #Prasthanam releasing on 20th September 2019."

The motion poster begins with a royal chair, which is mounted on the top of a golden gun. Touted to be a political thriller, the original film starred Sharwanand, Saikumar, Sundeep Kishan and Ruby Parihar.

Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt will also be seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's Panipat, along with Arjun Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He has also taken up  Shamshera with Ranbir Kapoor. As of now, he is shooting for Sadak 2 with Mahesh Bhatt.

Sanjay Dutt was last seen in Abhishek Varman's fantasy period drama titled Kalank. The actor reunited with his 90s co-star Madhuri Dixit on the silver screens after a long gap, for the Dharma Productions film, which failed to impress the audience.
