July 25 (AZINS) Although Shah Rukh Khan hasn't announced any new films, there have been several reports making the rounds about his upcoming projects. First, it was said that the superstar might play the leading role in Rajkumar Hirani's upcoming directorial. Earlier, a source had said to Mid Day, "Shah Rukh and Hirani have been meeting for a few months to discuss this. It's almost finalised.  It's a romantic drama with a strong emotional cord running through; it's right up SRK's alley."

Now as per reports in Pinkvilla, SRK is in a discussion with filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala for a film and if things fall into place, this will be their first collaboration ever. A source revealed to the entertainment portal, "Sajid and Shah Rukh had been discussing making a film for quite some time. Their collaboration has been on the cards and now, it's mostly happening. Sajid has offered LOL Land of Lungi to Shah Rukh Khan. It's a masala actioner that's a remake of Ajith starrer Veeram. The film will be directed by Farhad Samji."

The source added, "He has not given a green signal to any project. It's true he is in talks for LOL but he has not taken a call on the same yet. He's reading all the scripts that are coming to him and will decide on his next project in a few months from now. He has watched Veeram and liked how the makers have spun off the Hindi version. LOL is not only massy but is extremely funny and entertaining. As of now, SRK has liked the script."
