Vicky also came closer to the Indian army thanks to his movie. He studied them, spent time with them and the result is visible in various fans joining the armed force after watching Uri. While the fever of Uri still continues to take over our minds, Vicky decided to spend some more time with the Indian army. As Independence day comes closer, the actor will be seen spending few days besides jawaans stationed at the Indo-China border of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, which is at 14,000 ft altitude.

Sharing the news, Vicky wrote in his post, "Elated to be getting an opportunity to spend a few days with our Indian Army posted at 14,000ft altitude at the Indo-China border of Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. #JaiJawaan."

Post Uri, Vicky now plays freedom fighter Udham Singh in Shoojit Sircar's upcoming film, as well as Field Marshall Sam Maneckshaw in Meghna Gulzar directorial. The actor had collaborated with her for Raazi, where he played a Pakistani officer. Aditya Dhar's Uri, on the other hand, was screened in 500 theatres on Kargil Diwas (July 26) once again.
