Aug 5 (AZINS) As the release date of Sacred Games 2 comes closer, fans cannot contain their excitement. Adding much to the curiousity, Saif Ali Khan made some cool revelations in his recent interview. The actor went on to reveal more about his character Sartaj Singh in the new season.

Saif went on to say that Sacred Games 2 will explore Sartaj Singh's relation with his father and ex-wife. He also went on to explain that Sacred Games 2 will give everybody an idea about why the web series, which is broadcasted by Netflix, is actually named Sacred Games.

Talking about his character progression from Sacred Games to Sacred Games 2, Saif Ali Khan told Bollywood Hungama, "I was wondering in the first season why the show is called Sacred Games. I didn't understand the connection but now I get it. So in the second season, all questions which are raised in the first season are answered. There is a character development. It goes back into his past - his relationship with his father and ex-wife. All the points which were touched upon in the first season, you get to go in-depth exploration."

Apart from Saif, Sacred Games 2 also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Ganesh Gaitonde, Pankaj Tripathi as Guruji, Kalki Koechlin as Batya, Surveen Chawla as Jojo, Jatin Sarna as Bunty, Ranvir Shorey as Shahid Khan and Luke Kenny as Malcolm. The web series will start airing from August 15, 2019.
