The funeral of Hrithik Roshan's grandfather J Om Prakash was held on Wednesday afternoon. The actor's sister Sunaina Roshan was also snapped while heading for last rites.

August 7, 2019, was a sad day for Hrithik Roshan and his family as his maternal grandfather J Om Prakash passed away at the age of 93. The funeral was held in the suburbs of Mumbai on Wednesday afternoon and the family members marked their presence. Several Bollywood celebrities namely Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Prem Chopra and others also attended the last rites. Hrithik's mother Pinky Roshan, ex-wife Sussanne Khan and sons were also seen during the funeral.

Hrithik's sister Sunaina Roshan also made a rare public appearance during the funeral. In the photo clicked by the paparazzi, she was inconsolable and couldn't stop her tears. She was weeping throughout the funeral and her family members stayed beside her the whole time. Hrithik, however, got emotional and was seen sitting alone during the cremation. Earlier talking about his grandfather, Hrithik had said on Twitter, "MySuperTeacher - My Nana who I lovingly call Deda, for the lessons he has taught me at every stage of my life, which I share with my kids now."

Meanwhile, J Om Prakash was a leading filmmaker of Bollywood and has directed movies namely Bhagwan Dada, Aap Ke Saath, Aakhir Kyon?, Arpan, Aas Paas, Aasha, Aashiq Hoon Baharon Ka, Apnapan, Aakraman and Aap Ki Kasam.

He has also produced films such as Aandhi, Aankhon Aankhon Mein, Aya Sawan Jhoom Ke, Aaye Din Bahar Ke, Ayee Milan Ki Bela, Aas Ka Panchhi among many.

On the other hand, Sunaina was in news for going through a bad phase with her family.
