Salman Khan hosted controversial reality show Bigg Boss is all set to be back with its season 13 and speculations about its theme, possible contestants and the coveted prize money are doing the rounds already. Now, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then the makers of Bigg Boss 13 are planning to double the prize money. If this turns out to be true, then the winner of Bigg Boss season 13 will get to take home a whopping sum of Rs 1 crore. 

If a report on TellyChakkar is to be believed, then the makers of Bigg Boss 13 are contemplating increasing the prize money from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore in order to rope in big celebrities for the show. The report further stated that the task due to which the total prize money gets reduced may also get scrapped. 

Reportedly, the makers face a lot of problems to convince bigger celebs to participate in the show because of the prize money. This is supposed to be the reason why they may have decided to increase the prize money. 

Now, if the report turns out to be true and if the prize money of Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 13 indeed gets increased to Rs 1 crore, then the viewers can expect to see some of the most popular and bigger faces in the glass walled house. Meanwhile, it was already reported that this time, the sets of the show will be set up in Mumbai in place of Lonavala, because of Salman Khan's shooting schedule. 

Bigg Boss 13 is supposed to be bigger and better after the flop show that Bigg Boss 12 was. Another report doing the rounds suggests that Bigg Boss season 13 may air at the 10 pm slot in place of 9 pm and the shows Bepanah and Pyaarr & Vish may go off air.
