'Batla House' Box Office: John Abraham's film continues its hold, collects Rs 64 crore approx in 8 days!
John Abraham and Mrunal Thakur starrer Batla House has managed to hold its ground, despite facing tough competition from Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan starrer Mission Mangal. Batla House managed to collect about Rs 3 crore on Thursday which bring its overall total box office collections in eight days to Rs 64 crore approx, as per a report on IndiaToday.

Batla House was made on a modest budget of about Rs 49 crore and it has already raked in close to Rs 64 crore at the box office. The film is now eyeing the Rs 70 crore mark. The John Abraham starrer has a clear window before Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor's Saaho hits the theatres next week.

Both Batla House and Mission Mangal had hit the theatres on the occasion of Independence Day and have enjoyed an extended opening week. While Mission Mangal has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark, Batla House seems to be struggling to get there.

This wasn't the first time that John Abraham and Akshay Kumar's films locked horns at the box office. Last year too Akshay's Gold and John's Satyameva Jayate had clashed at the ticket windows and both the movies had managed to rake in the moolah. Let's wait to see how much Batla House is able to mint at the ticket windows before Saaho hits the theatres next week.
