Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput's daughter Misha Kapoor is celebrating her third birthday today. The cute little munchkin was born on August 26, 2016, and the couple was ecstatic to embrace parenthood back then. Both Shahid and Mira are often seen sharing photos and videos of Misha on their social media pages much to the excitement of the fans. Misha's charming smile and the way she poses with her parents are too cute for words.

Today, on the occasion of Misha's third birthday, Mira took to her Instagram page and shared an unseen photo of her baby. In the photo, an infant Misha is seen sleeping in her crib and it will just melt your hearts instantly. Mira wrote on Instagram, "I love you my sweetheart. Happiest birthday to my angel Misha I pray for your happiness my darling, God bless you always! Thank you for being the light of our lives!"

Earlier when Misha was born, Shahid had shared his excitement during an interview by stating, "I was both ecstatic and scared. I began thinking of Mira's father and how he must have felt when he gave away his baby, his daughter to this strange guy, an actor from Mumbai with a ponytail and coloured hair, who perhaps thought he was a 'cool dude'."

He added, "I called him up instantly and apologised if I had troubled him at any point. I may have overlooked his point of view somewhere, regarding something which may have been important to him, this realisation came when I held a baby girl in my hands when I felt vulnerable. I don't want anything to go wrong with her ever. I guess, being a man I always thought of as a man. But holding a baby girl gave me a new perspective. It changes everything."
