Looks like the chase among filmmakers to get the 'perfect' release date for their ambitious projects is going to coninue for quite a while. Soon after Salman Khan made it official that the release date of his next with Sanjay Leela Bhansali which stars Alia Bhatt along side him - Inshallah, has been postponed, the makers of Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer Laxmmi Bomb have preponed their film's release.

Inshallah was to hit the theatres on the occasion of Eid 2020 and now that the film has been postponed, Akshay and Kiara's Laxmmi Bomb has booked the Eid 2020 spot. While earlier Laxmmi Bomb was to hit the silver screens on June 5, 2020, it will now release on May 22, 2020.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter page to share the news. He wrote, ""#LaxmmiBomb to release on #Eid2020 [22 May 2020]... Stars Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani... Raghava Lawrence directs."

Salman had earlier taken to his Twitter page to share that, "The film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali is pushed but I will still see you all on Eid, 2020. Insha-Allah!!"

It seems that the Akshay Kumar vs Salman Khan battle at the box office on Eid 2020 hasn't been avoided after all. For those who've come in late, earlier, Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Rohit Shetty directorial Sooryavanshi was to release on the occasion of Eid next year but after it was announced that Salman and Alia's Inshallah will release on that day, Sooryavanshi's release date was preponed to March 2020.

Now, even though Inshallah has been stalled, it seems like there will be a Salman Khan movie for all the fans on Eid 2020. Salman also took a dig at all the speculations going around and tweeted recently, "Itna mat sochna mere baare mein, Dil mein aata hoon.. aur Eid pe bhi".

Well, it seems that the clash of the titans - Salman Khan vs Akshay Kumar is quite inevitable on Eid 2020!
