'Prassthanam' Trailer: Sanjay Dutt ROARS as the fight for his legacy gets intense in this political thriller!
The makers of Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Ali Fazal and Manisha Koirala starrer Prassthanam have unveiled its trailer and it's quite gripping. The Prassthanam trailer is full of noteworthy dialogues and one-liners and going by the looks of it, the film is going to be an epic political thriller.

Sanjay Dutt can be seen essaying the character of the head of a political family, who tells his son, played by Ali Fazal, that if there's one person in the family who'll be the leader after him, it'll be his son (Ali) as he's born for it. Manisha Koirala seems to be playing Sanjay Dutt's wife in the film while Chunky Pandey appears as the antagonist. Jackie Shroff essays a loyal of the family and the keeper of their secrets.

The trailer is full of some hard-hitting one-liners. The one that stands out is, "Sadiyon se aisa hi hota aaya hai. Apne hi apno ko maarte hain, bas hathiyaar badal jaate hain." This line makes it clear that the film deals with themes like morality, loyalty, betrayal and power struggle within a family.

Sanjay Dutt's roaring dialogue delivery hits home. The role seems to be tailer made for him and he gets some of the best lines in the trailer. Ali Fazal is pretty impressive in his element from what we see in the trailer. Chunky Pandey too gets a clever punch line and it's good to seem him in a negative character which is a far cry from his Aakhri Pasta stint (we like we like!).

We don't get to know much about the character of Jackie Shroff from the trailer, except that he's the loyal guard of the political family, guarding all their secrets. Manisha Koirala and Amyra Dastur too had little to do in the trailer. We hope that's not the case with the rest of the film.

Directed by Deva Katta, Prassthanam is slated to hit the theatres on September 20.
