Not only fans, Mammootty received warm birthday wishes from his peers too. For the actor he is and the way Mammootty is loved, a lot of people from the South Indian film industry spread across warm wishes for the Malayalam superstar.

His son Dulquer Salmaan, who is quite a sensation all across, was one of the first people to wish his father happy birthday on social media. "Happiest birthday to the reason for my being! Inspiring us everyday, being full of love and always finding time. You’re the greatest. The legend. My vappichi (sic)," wrote Dulquer while wishing his father.

Apart from Dulquer, superstar Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Nivin Pauly also sent across their best wishes for Mammootty.

Mammootty will soon appear in the movies Ganagandharvan and Mamangam. Both the flicks are in the post-production stage. Apart from that, Mammootty is also shooting for an upcoming film called Shylock.
