Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are all set to hit a hattrick soon. The duo, after Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Zero, will reportedly have their next outing with Ali Abbas Zafar's next. The movie, according to a now-deleted report on PeepingMoon, would be announced when YRF completes 50 years of being.
Katrina Kaif, who worked with Ali Abbas Zafar (and Salman Khan) in Bharat, which happened to be one of the highest-grossing films of 2019, might once again be seen in an action film. Fans speculate that the movie could be the much-awaited Dhoom: 4, and Katrina, already a part of Dhoom: 3 with Aamir Khan, is not new to the franchise.
A source confirmed the news of Katrina being part of the film by telling Times of India, “Katrina and Ali are a winning combination. They have delivered blockbusters in the past and he’s quite keen on working with her again. There will most likely be an official announcement on this project soon.”
Talking about Shah Rukh Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar's association, a source told Pinkvilla, "Shah Rukh has signed a big actioner which will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. Shah Rukh wanted to take up an action-oriented subject as his next and he's finally got the perfect script. The film is going to be mounted on a giant scale and will be one of the biggest films to hit screens in 2020."
"The superstar has always been fond of Ali's work and feels he brings out the right mix of action and emotion in his films. On the other hand, Ali has always wanted to collaborate with Shah Rukh. Their union was waiting to happen and it's finally happening now," added the source.
Further stating about when the movie would go on floors, the source mentioned, "Ali has launched his own production and will be busy with Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday starrer Khali Peeli. It's only after that he will roll out with the film with Shah Rukh. Currently, they have discussed the concept and SRK has given his nod. Ali is readying the script. Nothing else is known about the film as of now."
