Ranu Mondal has been in the news for a month now and every day something or the other interesting facts about her come up on the Internet. She has been given a break by Himesh Reshammiya in Bollywood as she recorded a song for his upcoming film, Happy Hardy and Heer. The launch event for the same was held in Mumbai a few days ago. Moreover, there were reports making the rounds that Salman Khan bought a house worth Rs 55 lakhs for Ranu in the city.

Quashing the reports, Ranu told Navbharat Times, "No! If it’s about gifting a house, Salman Khan would’ve made an announcement about it. If not this, he would’ve said that he’s gifting it to a friend or something related. But, till he doesn’t officially announce anything, it would be wrong to assume things."

She further said, "I didn’t tell anyone to help me and I’ll not ask for any help from Salman Khan too. At first, when I heard these rumours, I thought it could be true or not. I also heard him gifting me a red car, there were a lot of them. But, I would’ve trusted the news only if Salman had contacted me directly."

While earlier a source close to Salman told The Times of India, "There is no truth in this piece of news. Salman has neither bought a house for the lady nor there is any discussion about the song."

Ranu became an internet sensation after her video singing at Ranaghat station made its way to the web.
