It is no surprising news that Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu are at loggerheads ever since Kangana's sister Rangoli Chandel called Taapsee 'sasti copy' of Kangana. It thus came as a surprise when a recent report went on to claim that Taapsee Pannu will soon appear in a movie by Kangana's Dhaakad director Razneesh Razy Ghai.
A source, confirming to Bollywood Hungama, stated, “After Dhaakad, Razneesh Razy Ghai has roped in Taapsee Pannu for his next thriller. The movie is all set to go on floors next year and the official announcement will be made soon.”
Kangana Ranaut's Dhaakad movie teaser was unveiled a few days back, and by the looks of it, the movie was all set to be an explosion on Diwali 2019. Even before the trailer of Dhaakad was released, the news about Taapsee being cast in his next came to limelight. Denying all such reports, Razy took to his Twitter handle and clarified, "I’d like to communicate to the media that the reports of me directing another thriller are incorrect. All my focus right now is towards making @DhaakadTheMovie."
Taapsee Pannu will next appear in Saand Ki Aankh, the trailer of which was unveiled today. Taapsee plays the role of shooter dadi along with Bhumi Pednekar. The movie is directed by Taapsee's Manmarziyan helmer Anurag Kashyap and will release on October 25 alongside Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde starrer Housefull 4 and Rajkummar Rao-Mouni Roy's Made In China.
