'Made in China' song 'Odhani': Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy sizzle in the recreated version of iconic Gujarati track
A few days ago the makers of Made in China unveiled its trailer, now Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy can be seen grooving to the first song of the film. Titled 'Odhani', the song is known as a Gujarati folk song for years which has now been recreated with a modern taste in music.

The music video shows the two grooving to the song in a set filled with Chinese cultures like red walls and dragons. Rajkummar and Mouni, on the other hand, are donning green outfits. Sung by Darshan Raval and Neha Kakkar, it is composed by Sachin-Jigar and is written by Niren Bhatt and Jigar Sariya.

The film set to release on October 25, 2019, follows a jugaadu Gujarati businessman, Raghu played by Rajkummar Rao. In an attempt to become a big entrepreneur he started selling ‘Chinese Viagara’ while  Mouni plays Rajkummar’s wife, Rukmini.

Composers Sachin and Jigar while talking about the song earlier told Times of India, “Recreating an iconic song is always a huge responsibility. We have tried our best to retain the essence of the song while making it palatable for the project and the audience. Our aim is to make the song more relatable to the youngsters.” Jigar went on to say it is the perfect song for coming festive season, “It’s a perfect track to kick-start the festive season. We hope that familiarity of this song, along with its contemporary twist, will make it a preferred choice for all generations during the festival,”

Made in China is set to clash with Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 4 and Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar's Saand Ki Aankh.
