Ankita Lokhande, last seen in Manikarnika: Queen of Jhansi, has bagged her second film. The actress has been roped in for the third installment of the Baaghi series. Even before Baaghi 2’s release, the producer had announced the third installment.

After making her big screen debut alongside Kangana Ranaut, Ankita will be seen next as Shraddha Kapoor's sister in Baaghi 3. Ankita earlier expressed her wish to work on an out-and-out commercial film, and Baaghi 3 is just the choice.

"It is very challenging, but I am confident that my character will strike a chord with the audience. The third instalment is different from the previous two, as Baaghi 3 is more about family bonding,” she said in a statement.

Ankita while talking about her character said, "I play a fun-loving girl, who shares a great bond with her sister. I haven't played anything like this on TV or in Bollywood and the audience will see me in a never-seen-before avatar in my next outing.”

Baaghi 3 is set to be directed by Ahmed Khan. The film will reunite Tiger Shroff with Shraddha one more time after their first collaboration back in 2016. Baaghi, first of its franchise had made approximately 126.96 crore on the domestic Box Office.

Apart from Ankita, Shraddha and Tiger, Baaghi 3 will also star Riteish Deshmukh in a pivotal role. The actor will play Tiger’s brother in the franchise film. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and co-produced by Fox Star Studios, Baaghi 3 is scheduled for March 6, 2020 release.
