Vogue Beauty Awards 2019 was held on Wednesday evening in Mumbai and it was a star-studded event. The who's who of Bollywood marked their presence looking their stylish best and graced the red carpet. From Sara Ali Khan to Sharmila Tagore, actors of all generations were a part of the event and they were even bestowed with beauty awards from Vogue. Interestingly, this was the first time saw Sara walking the red carpet with her grandmother and legendary actor Sharmila Tagore.

Vogue India took to their Instagram page and shared a video of their quick interaction with Sharmila and Sara. In the video, Sara is seen being asked what was it like to walk the red carpet beside Sharmila Ji. To which the Kedarnath actor replied, "I think for me at least, Badi amma has always kind of epitomised beauty. And this is Vogue beauty, so I think attending with her is just very special."

Earlier, during an interaction when Sara was asked about Sharmila Ji, she had said, "She's the epitome of grace and elegance. That's something I admire. She's my grandmother so there's a lot of respect for her. I strike a balance between respect and closeness. I can talk to her about almost anything. But then again, our conversations are little more skewed towards world affairs and political science than towards hair and make-up."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sara will next be seen in Imtiaz Ali's Aaj Kal opposite Kartik Aaryan.
