When it was announced that legendary Hollywood's legendary actors Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are going to team up with Martin Scorsese after a long time, fans went berserk. The GOAT stars from Hollywood have collaborated for the film The Irishman which will be released on Netflix soon.
Talking about the much-awaited flick, Netflix released the synopsis which read as "An epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics."
Now, the official trailer for The Irishman has been unveiled and it's definitely worth the wait. From Robert returning to the crime scenes and that too seen as a criminal from the age of 20 to how old he is now. It instantly reminded me of the legendary actor from Taxi Driver all thanks to de-ageing technique. Robert as Frank aka Irishman is joined by Al Pacino who is seen as Jimmy Hoffa. But his camarederie with Joe Pesci as Russell Bufalino is something which is pretty interesting to watch.
The Irishman also stars Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Kathrine Narducci, Jesse Plemons, Domenick Lombardozzi, Paul Herman, Gary Basaraba and Marin Ireland in pivotal roles. It will be streamed on November 27, 2019.
