Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's favourite character Jethaa Lal recently met Rajinikanth and had a fanboy moment. Actor Dilip Joshi took to his social account and shared the exciting news with his fans.

The actor who has immense respect for the South Superstar met him at Film City in Mumbai. He tweeted today, "Bhagwan ke Ghar, der hai Andher nahi. Always wanted to meet Rajni Sir in person. It was an absolutely unbelievable coincidence, bumping into him at Film City! An inspiration and the epitome of humbleness. Feeling so...so lucky to have met him. Thank You Rajni Sir!"

Dilip Joshi also shared several photos with the post which shows him in his character Jethaa Lal's look meeting Rajanikanth. One of the photos show the two smiling and posing for the camera.

The show has been in the headlines for a different reason. The makers are looking for a new face for Jethaa Lal wife, Dayaben. While the character was played by Disha Vakani, in 2017, she had left for a maternity leave and didn't return post giving birth. Fans had been waiting for the return of their favourite Dayaben, while the makers are open to several options and have talked to other popular actors. A new report in Spotboye claimed Disha is all set to be back on TMKOC as Dayaben but only for one episode.

She agreed to be part of the Navaratri episode after all her conditions were met by the makers. If the reports are true Disha could return to the show for one episode and chose to stay.
