Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War has created an uproar across the nation. The film is a holiday release as it hit the screens on October 2, 2019 (Gandhi Jayanti). It also marked the first outing of Hrithik and Tiger on the big screen. On Wednesday, it was reported that the film recorded the highest advance booking of this year and on the third position in the list of top advances of all time.

Now, the first-day collections of War are out and as per Box Office India, the action-packed film has minted Rs 51.50 crore on its opening. This is the highest record created by any film of all time. The film even beat the first day collections of Thugs of Hindostan which had made Rs 48.27 crore and it was a Diwali 2018 release. Moreover, War has released only in 3850 screens across the country.
