In a time of multi-religious marriages among celebrities in India, Priyanka Chopra Jonas went multi-cultural as she tied the knot with American pop singer Nick Jonas back in 2018. Priyanka Chopra Jonas also went on to become sistter-in-law to Sophie Turner recently.

Sophie, who is married to Joe, was engaged to him when the couple arrived for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas' wedding. Sophie has been an inseparable part of Priyanka's crew, and it appears that much like Nick and his family, Sophie adores the indian culture.

It so happens that in an interview with Indulge Express, Priyanka revealed that Sophie insists on being called 'jethani' (elder sister-in-law). She said, "My jethani-devrani? Sophie calls herself ‘jethani’ (elder sister-in-law). She’s like, She loves being jethani."

However Sophie and Priyanka are often termed J-sisters, a word they coined for themselves. Danielle, married to Joe and Nick's brother Kevin Jonas, is part of the J-sisters crew too. Talking more about the coining of the term, PeeCee added, "Might have been me. It actually happened at my bachelorette. It started as a joke that if they are Jonas Brothers, we can be Jonas Sisters, since there were all three of us (Danielle, Sophie and Priyanka). It just became a thing."
