Parineeti Chopra has been prepping for her role as Saina Nehwal for quite some time, and it is now time to put all efforts to work. The movie, directed by Amole Gupte, will go on floors within a month. Parineeti will begin work on the movie now since she has been able to wrap up The Girl On The Train shoot in London last month.

Confirming the news that Saina Nehwal biopic is finally going on floors, and that too on October 11, produced Bhushan Kumar of T-Series told Mumbai Mirror, “On October 11, we roll, and Parineeti will juggle between her shoots and practice to keep her game up.”

Bhushan also happened to mention that once he saw a few clips from Parineeti's practice, he believes she has done a fabulous job. Director Amole Gupte is of the same opinion. He stated, “I have netted a really good talent who has the acting prowess to play Saina,” adding, “I had met Saina when she was in Mumbai for Father’s Day and when it was mentioned that Parineeti would be playing her on screen, she was really excited. I concur with her.”

Meanwhile Parineeti too feels the movie will be a life-changing experience. She mentioned, “I’ve put all my energies prepping for this role, something I’ve never done for the 10-12 films that I’ve worked in previously and in the process I have finally discovered the person I am and the actor. I’m really excited to start Saina. I think it will be a life-changing experience.”

Revealijng the first scene of the film, Amole Gupte stated, “In the first scene, Parineeti as Saina will be answering questions from the fraternity, including journalists, students and sports management people.”

The director also wishes to release the film by Summer of 2020. “I make films for a family audience and for that I need children to be free, be it the summer or Diwali vacation. While we have not locked a date, I’m focused to deliver the film by summer next year,” concluded the director.
