After nine whole days of Puja, the festival of Dussehra is here! This day marks the burning of evil (Raavan) by fire. It also serves as a reminder to kill all negativity inside of us and start the year after on a more positive note.

The act is quite common in plays and movies. Coming to movies, many Bollywood celebrities also believe in the festival, and every year, take to their social media in order to wish their fans on the happy day. This year, Varun Dhawan, Vivek Oberoi, Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor happened to be few of the celebrities who took to Twitter and wished their fans.

Varun Dhawan kept it simple as he wrote, “#HappyDussehra everybody. Let the goodness in u triumph over evil.” Meanwhile Vivek Oberoi went a little more philosphical and shared, “RA-M RA-VANA. Everyone has the same start but the end is decided by karma! May this #Dussehra burn all your worries along with #Ravana and bring you and your loved ones lots of happiness and prosperity. Wish you all a very Happy Dussehra!”

Apart from Bollywood actors, other film personalities also shared their views on Dussehra. Among them were singers Yo Yo Honey Singh and Adnan Sami. National Award winning lyricist Javed Akhtar mentioned, “Happy Dussehra to all my sisters and brothers . Here is to wish peace and prosperity to all of you.”
