Akshay Kumar who is gearing up for the release of Sooryavanshi recently shot for the film's climax scene with Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Ajay Devgn as Singham. Post shoot the actor took to his social media and shared a special picture of himself as Veer Sooryavanshi.

Sharing the post, Akshay tweeted: “The desi Avengers of the Cop universe! When ‘Singham’ meets ‘Simmba’ meets #Sooryavanshi, expect not just fireworks but a full-blown blast on 27th March 2020.”

Directed by Rohit Shetty the film belongs to the cop universe that started with Ajay Devgn's Singham. This film will be the first to introduce Akshay's character Veer Sooryavanshi. This picture is also the first, which shows Akshay facing the camera. The picture also has Ranveer and Ajay each on his side. Akshay keeps his hand on their shoulders with their backs to the camera. Behind the trio is a group of officers dressed in full gear.

Fans got a glimpse of  Veer Sooryavanshi in Ranveer Singh's Simmba. He was seen in a post-credit scene which showed him having a conversation with Ajay Devgn. Sooryavanshi will also start Katrina Kaif bringing back the hit Jodi after nine years. Some of their other hit releases included Namastey London, Singh Is Kinng, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Welcome and more.

The film produced by Shetty and Karan Johar under their banner of Rohit Shetty Picturez and Dharma Productions will hit screens in March 2020.
