If you thought Ranbir Kapoor was going to surprise you with his different looks in Sanju only, then everyone is up for another huge surprise. The actor has transformed yet again for his upcoming movie Shamshera, which is being bankrolled by Yash Raj Films.

A rough glimpse of the character Shamshera was unveiled during the announcement of the film. Ranbir's look keeps up to the expectations, and actually raises the bar. Ranbir's look from the sets was leaked over the internet and the actor is making it tough to believe that this look is unedited.

With some cosmetic and costume magic, Ranbir Kapoor transformed into what looks like a farmer who could probably have some battle scars. This comes as a refreshing change, for the actor has more than often played a modern, city boy-next-door.

Shamshera is being helmed by Hrithik Roshan-Sanjay Dutt starrer Agneepath's director Karan Malhotra. Apart from Ranbir, the movie also stars Vaani Kapoor as his love interest, and Ronit Roy, Ashutosh Rana and Aahana Kumra in pivotal roles. The film is slated to release on July 31, 2020.
