News of Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan parting ways made headlines since a few days. Amidst this, Sara's father Saif Ali Khan was asked about the news regarding their relationship, and the actor appears to have approved of Kartik.

In an interview to ETimes, Saif said, “In person Sara is good, she knows what she wants and usually likes nice people. So I'm sure he's (Kartik) a lovely guy because you know I have full trust in her values and what kind of things she would be drawn to. So you know, if she likes him, then he must be nice.”

Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan united thanks to Ranveer Singh. They were then snapped working on Imtiaz Ali's movie Love Aaj Kal 2. The movie, which is tentatively titled Aaj Kal, will release on Valentines Day 2020. The movie is sequel to Saif Ali Khan-Deepika Padukone's Love Aaj Kal.

Kartik is currently working with Ananya Panday and Bhumi Pednekar in the movie Pati Patni Aur Woh. Meanwhile Sara Ali Khan will next be seen in Varun Dhawan starrer Coolie No 1, which is also the remake of David Dhawan's film which featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in lead roles.
