Anushka Sharma lauds Amitabh Bachchan's KBC 11 for bringing out courageous story of sex trafficking survivor, activist
Amitabh Bachchan's Kaun Banega Crorepati welcomes people of all stature, caste, religion, race and culture. The show has also welcomed the specially abled and it also brings forth stories which sometimes warm the heart and some other times break it.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, saw one such story of a sex trafficking survivor-turned-activist Sunitha Krishnan. On the show, the Padma Bhushan awardee Sunitha narrated her heart-breaking story of being gang-raped by eight men when she was just a teenager.

Sunitha furthermore narrated a story about how she once saved a three-year-old, the youngest child, from the racket. On hearing these incidents, Amitabh Bachchan was left speechless, and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma couldn't help but laud Big B, the show and Sunitha for bringing the story forth.

"The incidents and the dirty realities that a crusader like @sunita_krishnan brought to light on the KBC episode are so shocking and hurtful. She has done and is doing such incredible work in rescuing women and young girls as little as 3 years old from sex trafficking," tweeted Anushka, adding, "We are grateful that people like her exist in this world. And kudos to KBC for highlighting such amazing people on the show. @SrBachchan."

Later on, Sunitha also thanked Amitabh Bachchan for giving her a platform to voice her concerns and reach out to the most needy, and in the process, also receive help in taking her cause ahead. Sunitha has a community of women called Prajwala which contributes towards uplifting of the girl victims.
