On Friday, two films were released - Bollywood film Laal Kaptaan and Hollywood flick Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. Laal Kaptaan stars Saif Ali Khan in the titular role along with Manav Vij, Zoya Hussain, Deepak Dobriyal, Simone Singh and Sonakshi Sinha in a special appearance. While Maleficent has Angelina Jolie in the titular role with Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, Lesley Manville, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Ed Skrein, and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Both films haven't left any impressive mark on the audience. Laal Kaptaan minted about Rs 65 crore on Sunday and the total collections up until now are Rs 1.75 crore. On the other hand, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil made about Rs 1.55 crore on its third day and it has amounted up to Rs 3.55 crore.

Laal Kaptaan is directed by Navdeep Singh and produced Eros International and Aanand L Rai's Colour Yellow Productions. While Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is helmed by Joachim Rønning and produced by Joe Roth, Angelina Jolie and Duncan Henderson. 

Other two films which released on Friday are Vikram Bhatt's Ghost and P Se Pyaar F Se Farraar. Both the movies are disastrous at the box office.
