Veteran actor Soni Razdan is celebrating her birthday today and has turned 63. On the occasion of the same, daughter and actor Alia Bhatt returned to Mumbai just in time from London to spend time with her family. But before the big celebrations, Alia took to her Instagram page and shared a throwback photo with Soni to wish her. In the photo, toddler Alia is seen sitting on her mom's lap and posing for the camera.

Alia posted the photo with a cute caption stating, "To the most inspiring, understanding, beautiful, special/light soul that exists. I love you soo much mama.. thank you for being you and thank you for making me Happy Birthday Mama!" It's a cute sight to see how Soni is looking at Alia in the most adorable way.

Earlier during an interaction with Pinkvilla, Soni was all praises for Alia. She had said, "She is my daughter, so I don't want to keep praising her. I think that what she is doing is good and she should continue doing it. Not only she chooses great films, but great films are also choosing her, interesting roles are also coming to her. She is coming to an interesting time in the industry which is ready for actresses like Alia who are doing different things. I think all actresses today are now wanting to do different things."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Soni and Alia shared screen space for the first time in Raazi released last year.
