Bala Box Office occupancy: Ayushmann Khurrana's latest release fails to beat Dream Girl numbersAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Ayushmann Khurrana has been on a roll in the year 2019. The actor, who won a National Award in the same year for his movie AndhaDhun, also has been giving back-to-back hits. The actor's movies Badhaai Ho and AndhaDhun were a hit in 2018, and he raised the bar with Dream Girl early this year.
His latest release Bala too has been performing well at the Box Office. However, Ayushmann Khurrana, Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bala came close to the Box Office occupancy of his last release Dream Girl. While Dream Girl had 30% occupancy, Bala managed only 27.5% occupancy.
Both Dream Girl and Bala, however, do not fall in the top 10 categories in terms of Box Office occupancy of films released in the year 2019. While Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff's WAR rules in terms of Box Office occupancy too, John Abraham's Batla House stands at the 10th position in the same category.
Here are the top 14 opening day occupancy of movies released in 2019:
1. War - 70%
2. Bharat - 60%
3. Saaho (Hindi) - 55%
4. Mission Mangal - 52.5%

Bala released at a time when a movie with the same plot aka Sunny Singh's Udja Chaman already released at the Box Office. The movie also has tough competition from Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde starrer Housefull 4.
