Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are currently busy with the shoot of their film Laal Singh Chaddha in Chandigarh. They kickstarted the shoot a few days back and are completing the Chandigarh as per the schedule. Until now only these two actors were announced as the leading stars and the makers are yet to reveal the rest of the supporting cast. Aamir and Kareena have stepped into the shoes of Tom Hanks and Robin Wright in Forrest Gump's Hindi remake.

Now as per reports in Mid Day, it's going to be a 3 Idiots reunion with another actor from Rajkumar Hirani's film being roped in to play a pivotal role in Laal Singh Chaddha. Yes, we are talking about Mona Singh, who played the role of Kareena's elder sister in 3 Idiots. Talking about it, a source told the tabloid, "Details of her character have been kept under wraps."

The source went on to say, "Advait Chandan [director] believes Mona fits the role perfectly. The first schedule is underway in Chandigarh, and Mona will join the cast soon."

When Mona was asked about it, she confirmed the report stating, "I am looking forward to our shoot. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you get. For me, it's been a box of wishes that came true. It will be exciting and challenging to play this role as it spans over a lifetime."

Laal Singh Chaddha is written by Atul Kulkarni and is slated to release in Christmas 2020.
