'Pati Patni Aur Woh': Ananya Panday takes inspiration from Shah Rukh Khan's iconic scene in 'Main Hoon Na' for her entryAuthor : AZIndia News Desk
Ananya Panday is gearing up for the release of her second film, Pati Patni Aur Woh. In the comedy film, the actor plays the role of 'Woh' alongside Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. The trio is currently on a promotional spree and has been sharing several anecdotes from the sets of the upcoming film. Going by trailer, it seems like Ananya's entry in the film is by stepping out of a train.
As per reports in Bombay Times, the young actor took inspiration from Shah Rukh Khan's iconic scene in Main Hoon Na after 'Chale Jaise Hawaien' song. Confirming the news, Ananya told the daily, "Mudassar Aziz asked me to watch Shah Rukh Khan’s famous scene from Main Hoon Na where he alights from the train as he wanted the same impact. I was so thrilled because I’ve always been a great fan of Shah Rukh sir and always admired him."
She added, "There was no better reference than him when it comes to such scenes. He makes every scene so realistic. I wanted to bring the same effect on screen and have tried my best."
Pati Patni Aur Woh is directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Juno Chopra and Krishan Kumar, under their home banners T Series and B R Studios. The film is the remake of 1978 film of the same name which starred Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the lead roles.
The 2019 film Pati Patni Aur Woh is all set to hit the screens on December 6, 2019.
