Rani Mukerji's Mardaani 2 might have started on a poor note, but movie has picked up at the Box Office and how! After picking up on first day Frdiay evening, Mardaani 2 saw 75% growth on day 2 Saturday, which is quite unusual for a movie like that.

In fact, Mardaani 2 starring Rani Mukerji in the lead role, might not be a brand, but is performing better than its 2014 release. The movie colelcted Rs. 6.50 crore on Saturday, thus taking its two day collection to Rs. 10.25 crore. 50-60% growth would have been normal for the film, but Mardaani 2 showed tremendous 75% growth which proves the movie is successful and on its way to become a hit.

Mardaani 2, like expected from a Rani Mukerji film, showed best trend in West Bengal. Taking a look at the trend so far, the movie is also expected to cross Rs. 60-70 crore all India. The real test for the film will however be on weekdays, since a few films do show drop over weekdays, after good weekend collections.

Saturday - 6,50,00,000 

Mardaani 2 was a low-budget film and the movie already looks successful. However it remains to be seen whether Rani Mukerji's movie can survive at the Box Office after Salman Khan-Sonakshi Sinha's Dabangg 3 release on Friday.
