Akshay Kumar who is currently busy promoting Good Newwz is equally thrilled and excited about what the next year has in store for him.

Talking about the same, during an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Akshay opened up about the array of films that he has lined up and his box office clash next year with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan.

Akshay who is knee-deep in work till 2021 is one of the few Bollywood stars who managed to give back to back hits in 2019 and already has four projects ready for 2020.

Two of his films Laxmmi Bomb and Bachchan Pandey are releasing on the same day as Salman Khan's Radhe Your Most Wanted Bhai and Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha respectively.

Speaking about the clash, Akshay said that there are only 52 weeks in a year, however, there are also a lot of screens in India which in turn allows for two films to release on the same day and do well at the box office.

“There are just 52 weeks in a year but thank God, we also have 5000-plus screens, which ensure enough space for two films releasing together and doing well", he said.

Akshay's Laxmmi bomb will clash with Salman's Radhe on Eid 2020 and Bachchan Pandey hits the screen on Christmas with Aamir's Laal Singh Chaddha.

On the work front, Akshay is currently busy promoting Good Newwz which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

Directed by Raj Mehta, the film is all set to release on December 27, 2019.
