Ajay Devgn is currently looking forward to his much-awaited historical fiction Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, based on the life of a Maratha combatant named Subedar Tanhaji Malusare. 

Ever since its trailer was released a few days ago, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior has been in the news and has managed to create a positive buzz around it. 

To keep the momentum up, the makers of the film today released a special track. The song titled Ghamand Kar is the theme song of the film which celebrates the Maratha warrior spirit with hard-hitting lyrics and a haunting background score.

The song was shared by Ajay on his Twitter account. He wrote, "Jeet ki dhun bana, jeet ka gumaan kar, Taandav sa yuddh kar, yuddh kar bhayankar! #GhamandKar, out now."

The music for the song is given by Sachet-Parampara who are also the lead singers of the song while the lyrics are penned by Anil Verma. 

The film is based on the life of legendary Tanhaji Malusare and is an Indian biographical period drama based on a historic day, February 14, 1670: The surgical strike that shook the Mughal Empire. 

Directed by Om Raut. the film is all set to lock horns with Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak on January 10, 2020. 

 

The film also features Saif Ali Khan as Uday Bhan and Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It also stars Kajol as Tanaji's wife, Savitribai Malusare.

Both Ajay and Kajol were last seen together in 'Toonpur Ka Superhero' which released in 2010, one of the many reasons why audiences are keen on their collaboration after 10 years.
