Today is a special day for Deepika Padukone not only because the actress is a few days away from her debut as a producer with Chhapaak but she also celebrates her 34th birthday. 

However, it is a working birthday this year for the Padmaavat actress who is currently in Lucknow with Ranveer Singh to ring in her birthday by visiting a restaurant run by acid attack survivors. 

However, before flying out to Lucknow today in the morning, Deepika spoke to the media and cut a cake with them. 

She also spoke about her upcoming projects after Chhapaak. The actress is all set to return to sets and film Shakun Batra's next alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Pandey.

As per reports, while speaking about her equation with the two, Deepika said, "Ananya is someone who, I've been meeting often of late and I'm really fond of her. She's a really bright, talented girl. Siddhant, I had the opportunity of meeting him several times and he’s extremely talented. But more importantly, they are just really lovely passionate people." 

Going on to talk about her director, she said, “Shakun is someone I've been dying to work with. I've really I've looked forward to this moment. I'm a huge fan of his work and think he's one of those few people who can really portray relationships beautifully. And you know, those are the kinds of films that I've enjoyed watching as an audience, and even as an actor, those are the kinds of films I enjoy performing.”
