'Go Goa Gone 2': One day after film announcement, makers rope in Varun Sharma to play key role
Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Vir Das, and Anand Tiwari starrer Go Goa Gone became an instant hit and a cult classic ever since its release in 2013 and audiences, since then, have been eagerly waiting for the makers to announce the film's sequel. Wednesday was a good day for the film's fan base when Eros International and Maddock Films announced the release for the much-awaited sequel.

As per reports, Varun Sharma has been roped in for the Saif Ali Khan starrer and will play a key role in the film. The Fukrey actor who is known for his impeccable comic timing and sense of humour  is sure to add some sparks to Go Goa Gone 2.

Recently Saif Ali Khan also opened up about the sequel and said, "We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I'll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second installment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script. The other characters played by Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das will also be a part of it."

Talking about this collaboration, Dinesh Vijan, founder of Maddock Films said, "It's been quite a journey from 2013, and I'm so excited we're back again with this crazy ride! Go Goa Gone redefined many things, and we are gunning to do that again. The characters have stayed with us all this while and we are thrilled to bring them back to life! Sunil and I have had a great partnership and I'm excited to be back together especially for this film. We are finishing the final draft and we should roll by September 2020."
