Mahesh Babu's 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' has been working well not only in India but also in the USA. The movie has earned well than even Rajinikanth's Darbar there. A scene in the movie has been tweaked.
The scene is a long train sequence which previously featured Bandla Ganesh. He has been replaced by Rao Ramesh and the movie's new version has been playing in theatres since Saturday, stated a report on Deccan Chronicle.
“Producer Anil Sunkara, director Anil Ravipudi, and Mahesh Babu decided to remove the episode after they got negative feedback from the audience. The new version will play in the theatres from Saturday,” the source told the daily.
'Sarileru Neekevvaru' has already been working well at the Box Office overseas. The movie earned Rs. 15 crores overseas. The Mahesh Babu starring film minted Rs 13.36 crore in the USA alone, even beating Rajinikanth's Darbar there. Darbar earned Rs 10.84 crore till January 17.
Apart from the USA, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru' minted Rs 1.66 crore in Australia and Rs 76.41 lakh in the UK. Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, on the other hand, collected Rs 15.18 crore.
'Sarileru Neekevvaru' entered Rs. 100 crore club globally within a week of its release. The movie faces competition from Dhanush's Pattas and Ajay Devgn, Kajol and Saif Ali Khan's Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Deepika Padukone-Vikrant Massey's Chhapaak also released along with 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'.
