Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan are on a promotional spree for the release of their upcoming film 'Love Aaj Kal'. The movie is the reprised version of Imtiaz Ali's own film starring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles previously. During the promotions of the movie, Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan pulled off a Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt pose.

Sara and Kartik, also known as SarTik, were grooving to 'Galat', which is the reprised version of 'Twist', during their promotions in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It was during this time that Kartik took Sara by surprise. After their dance, Kartik spontaneously picked up Sara off her feet. She held on to Kartik.

SarTik's moment instantly reminded us of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. The actor has often managed to take Alia by surprise every time they go on to promote their movies. Varun started the trend of picking up Alia from their second movie together, 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'. This trend continued with 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania' and it was even visible during 'Kalank' promotions.

'Love Aaj Kal' will mark Sara and Kartik's first professional collaboration. The movie is slated for Valentines' Day aka February 14, 2020 release. 'Love Aaj Kal' would release alongside Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 'Shikara' which is based on the emigration of Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir.
