Box Office Report Day 2: 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' witnesses huge jump; 'Bhoot Part One' shows limited growth
Two movies of two different genres released on Friday. The first one is Ayushmann Khurrana and Jitendra Kumar starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. While the second one is Vicky Kaushal starring film, Bhoot: Part One - The Haunted Ship. Both the films got a decent opening at the box office and are managing to pull the crowd towards the theatre. On the first day, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan made Rs 9 crore, while Bhoot: Part One - The Haunted Ship minted Rs 5 crore.

Now the second-day collections of the films are out. As per reports in Box Office India, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan collected Rs 10.75 crore approx on its first Saturday. The total until now is Rs 19.75 crore approx, which is indeed a good growth.

Meanwhile, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan jumps on Day 2... Metros witness growth, while mass pockets remain strictly average... On the other hand, Bhoot: Part One - The Haunted Ship made Rs 5.50 crore approx on the second day, as per the trading website. So, the total collections are Rs 10.50 crore approx as of Saturday.

Meanwhile, Taran wrote on his Twitter page, "#Bhoot witnesses limited growth on Day 2... Decent in mass circuits, but lacks the spark at key metros... Day 3 is pivotal, needs to recover lost ground to post a respectable total... Eyes ? 16 cr [+/-] weekend... Fri 5.10 cr, Sat 5.52 cr. Total: ? 10.62 cr. #India biz."

Looks like, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan is leading as per box office figures.
