Black Widow's instant death in 2019 release 'Avengers: Endgame' became the talk of the town. However, Scarelett Johansson, who played the character, had revealed that there was a different death sequence planned for 'Black Widow', where not only Hawkeye but even Thanos appeared. A video of the alternate ending has now made rounds of the internet.

Black Widow and Hawkeye originally fought over who would give up on their life and secure the soul stone. While the movie featured Black Widow deceiving Hawkeye for the stone, the original death sequence featured Natasha Romanff suffering brutal wounds via Sakaaraan ships which Thanos sent to attack her. Soon after Thanos features closer to Hawkeye, Natasha takes a heroic leap from Vormir.

Apart from Black Widow, Iron Man aka Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. also sacrificed his life in 'Avengers: Endgame'. Moreover, unlike Natasha, Stark got a proper funeral at the end of the film.

'Black Widow', however, is the next film under Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). While Scarlett appears in the titular role, the film also features Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, David Harbour, O-T Fagbenle, William Hurt, and Ray Winstone in pivotal roles. Owing to coronavirus lockdown, the movie had a new release date and will now be screened in theatres on November 6, 2020.
