Tigmanshu Dhulia carries Irrfan Khan's mortal remains to cemetery
An image of Irrfan Khan's mortal remains being brough to the cemetery in Versova have been making rounds of the internet. In the image shared by Sandeep Singh, filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia picked up Irrfan's mortal remains and walked with it to the graveyard.

Sharing the image of him, Tigmanshu and others picking up Irrfan's mortal remains, Sandeep Ssingh shared, "Never imagined shouldering the burden of your loss would weigh so heavy on my heart. Thank you Irrfan Bhai for standing by me in my times of crises. You were there when not many wanted to even acknowledge me. You are one of a kind and I will continue to use present tense, because for me human beings like you never die."

He added, "Your persona, your aura, your love for cinema and your philosophy of life will continue to remain an inspiration and guide me. Thank you God for allowing me to walk with Irrfan Bhai one last time. Feel blessed to have gotten a chance to bid goodbye even as crores of your fans and friends wanted to be there. You are gone too soon, Bhai."

Irrfan Khan had worked in Tigmanshu Dhulia's critically acclaimed film 'Paan Singh Tomar'. The movie is yet remembered among Irrfan's most memorable roles in his Bollywood career.

While Tigmanshu picked up the late actor's mortal remains, Irrfan's sons Babil and Ayan performed the last rites for late actor. Vishal Bhardwaj, Kapil Sharma, Mika Singh and Rajpal Yadav were also seen paying their last respects to the actor.

Meanwhile, whole Bollywood fraternity including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and the likes paid their respects to the actor on social media. Most of the celebs could not gather around for the funeral owing to the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown.
