Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldn't physically attend father Rishi Kapoor's funeral because she was stuck in Delhi. Now travelling to Mumbai, she however, was a part of the funeral. Remember the image where Alia Bhatt is seen holding her phone standing next to Neetu Kapoor, while Rishi Kapoor's funeral took place? The actress was face-timing with Riddhima.

Soon after the image of Alia Bhatt using her phone during Rishi Kapoor's funeral came out, she got trolled for the same. These netizens questioned her morals and called her shameless, all without knowing that the actress was actually making sure Rishi Kapoor's daughter Riddhima could be part fo the funeral too.

Riddhima recently shared an image of her travelling from Delhi to Mumbai. She received permission for travelling by road which takes 18-24 hours. Hence, Riddhima could not physically be there at Rishi Kapoor's funeral, but was on the video call when the funeral took place.

Rishi Kapoor was battling a form of cancer called leukemia since two years. He was being treated for the same in US since a long time and his wife Neetu Kapoor was also there with him constantly as the veteran actor was receiving treatment.
