Sutapa Sikdar holds onto Irrfan Khan in new Facebook profile picture
Irrfan Khan's demise came as a shock to the whole film industry - both Bollywood and Hollywood, so one can only wonder what his wife Sutapa Sikdar might have felt. She has now updated her Facebook profile picture to an image of her holding onto Irrfan Khan dearly.

Making the image as her Facebook profile photo, Sutapa shared, "I have not lost I have gained in every which way...." Irrfan is seen holding his hands in the picture while Sutapa looks into the camera as she gives him a back hug. The image appears to be taken from the time when Irrfan was being treated for cancer in London.

After being treated and arriving in Mumbai, Irrfan had also shot for Homi Adajania's movie 'Angrezi Medium'. Also featuring Radhika Madan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepak Dobriyal and Dimple Kapadia, the movie was produced by Dinesh Vijan, who hoped to expand the franchise with Irrfan Khan with 'Chinese Medium'.

Irrfan died of colon infection on April 29, 2020. The actor, aged 53, was receiving treatment in Kokilaben Dhirubai Ambani hopsital in Versova and was buried in a kabrastan there. 20 people attended his funeral. While his sons Babila and Ayan performed Irrfan's last rites, filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia along with Sandip Ssingh and others carried the actor's mortal remains to the graveyard. Sutapa, Vishal Bhardwaj, Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav and Mika Singh were a few people spotted at the funeral held at 3 pm.
