A man was admitted to ICU after he suffered a brain stroke. Soon after his surgery, the man asked his son to put on 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' for the man to watch. The son captured his father's reaction - a smile - which has now gone viral on the internet.

The son informed that Jethalal and Daya ben's scene from 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' was on the screen, making his father smile. He wrote, "So my dad suffered a brain stroke and was in the ICU for almost 6 days. The first thing which he asked me to put on the television once he was shifted to a ward was Tarak Mehta Ka Oolta Chashma. Luckily there was scene of Jetha and Babita going on and I could see him smiling. Such is the power of this show. This is a small tribute to the show and its makers!"

Sharing the post, 'Taarak Mehta's producer Asit Kumar Modi thanked the fan for the love and support. "Thank you for your love. Your love inspire us," he wrote.

'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' recently completed 12 years. The team, like other cast and crew members are at home under coronavirus lockdown. They, however, make an appearance on video calls every now-and-then.
