Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao were snapped in Mumbai at the actor's longtime assistant Amos' funeral. Aamir and Kiran paid their last respects to Amos despite the coronavirus lockdown. They were among the limited crowd allowed at the funeral.

Aamir was spotted in a black t-shirt with denims, hand-in-hand with wife Kiran Rao as the entered the premises of the funeral. They both were seen in masks which have become a compulsion owing to the coronavirus outbreak.

Amos, who was working with Aamir Khan since 25 years, was taken to Holy Famil hospital after a massive heart attack. He passed away at the age of 60 on Tuesday. Aamir's close friend and Lagaan co-star Karim Hajee had confirmed the news, stating Amos had collapsed in the morning, after which he was rushed to the hospital.

Describing Amos, Karim told PTI, "Amos worked with a superstar but was endearing and simple. He was like this to not just Aamir but everyone. He put everyone at ease and was a wonderful person. He had a wonderful heart, was so bright and a hard worker."

"He had no major illness, his death is shocking. He died with his boots on. Both Aamir and Kiran are devasted. Aamir had sent us a message and said it is an irreplaceable loss. We were so numb, we will miss him," he added. Amos had recently turned a grandfather. He is survived by his wife and two children.
